I remember back in the early 60’s when I was still a young kid. Our city wasn’t that big at the time and the outskirts were only a few blocks away. If you took the main road out of town you could drive about 5 miles and out in the county on this road was a small place called Family Fun Land. No, it wasn’t a place with merry go rounds and other amusement rides, but a small red building with a fence around it and the asphalt track.

This was the place that when Dad mentioned taking a trip to every ones eyes popped open, sisters included as they too just loved driving these go-karts just as much as the boys. I vividly remember it costing a dollar a ride and you would get like four laps around the track. That sounds cheap to todays cost of living standards but back then it was quite a bit of money when you had to pay for 3 or 4 kids. Dad usually let us invite at least one neighborhood friend to go along for the fun.

They weren’t all that fast but it seemed like we were going 50 miles an hour probably because of how close we were to the ground. This was great fun but also a mighty challenge as one wanted to pass as many other people as you could and come in first. There were old tires that lined booth sides of the track so one couldn’t run off. The carts themselves had steel frames around the tires which kept the tires from hitting which would cause the cart to jump and react pretty violently.

Being pretty mechanically inclined, I knew a little bit about these Briggs & Strattons as I had watched my Dad work on them on our lawn mowers as they used the same kind of engine. I would see if any of the people who ran the place were watching and if I got a break, I would reach back and open the throttle manually against the governor and get a good spurt of power for a second or two. This usually helped me gain some ground or get ahead of another person on the track. I thought this was pretty cool and others wondered how I was always lucky enough to get one of the faster carts. Some were a little faster than others and we you watched the people on the course before it was your turn, you would run to get one of these faster carts. It was usually a mad dash.

Now, over the last few years I have noticed more and more places appearing all of a sudden with go-kart tracks. I know of at least two just a hop skip and a jump about five minutes for one and about 15 minutes from where I live for the other one. The newest one is place called Volcano Falls and they have a two go cart tracks with a variety of other rides and things to do for entertainment beside go karts. Most of the newer places have mini put, batting cages etc. There’s bound to be one in your city or town and if not for sure you can find one pretty darn close. Give it a go, you’ll have a blast.

I personally know friends (and family) have been “scammed” so many times by work from home opportunities, make money online etc so when I heard about people talking about The Rich Pom website on a Radio station in Sydney, I was immediately alerted and set out to investigate this latest money-making craze.
If you haven’t heard of “The Rich Pom”, he’s basically a guy who has moved to Australia a year or so ago and claims to have made hundreds of thousands of dollars by affiliate marketing – put simply – working from home earning money online.
His website (TheRichPom.com) is actually very well laid out and there are “apparent” video testimonials of real people who have purchased his information. He also publishes proof of earnings, which at $95,000 a month seems good. In addition to this, the sheer fact that he lists his phone number adds immediate credibility to anyone thinking this is a scam – it clearly isn’t. It looks like this Rich Pom is doing very well for himself. BUT, is the information he is selling any good?
Well, I joined up yesterday and downloaded the document he has written that will apparently help me earn thousands working from home. It’s a simple word document and is fairly well explained. Whilst I was sifting through the information, I pretended to myself I was a computer newcomer and to give him due credit, things are explained so that anyone can understand them, regardless of PC or Internet skills.
His ideas are genuinely clever. It’s clear to see that The Rich Pom knows how to earn money online and by following his techniques, one could realistically start their own home business with ease. Yes, you do need to invest a bit of time and money into it, but when you start your own business, this comes as standard.

You should whisper because a truly compelling elevator speech focuses on the problems you solve for people – described empathetically in emotional terns. It’s not polite to talk out loud about your clients’ head scratching or nail biting. Emotional empathy positions you as respectful and credible. Whispering shows that. 2. People pay more attention when you whisper – especially in contrast, when they expect you to announce grandly what you do and talk about yourself.

A Widget in Beta Blogger is an individual page element such as a picture, a blogroll, or anything else you can add from the Page Elements tab. A widget consists of code which forms the widget and the data which is added to it by the user. Multiple widgets are grouped together in Sections which are the areas of your page such as the header, the sidebar, the footer, etc. The body section of a Layouts template is made up of sections and widgets. Each section and its corresponding widgets is included in the wrapper of that section. For example the sidebar wrapper contains the section ‘Sidebar’ which contains widgets like ‘Profile’, Links’, ‘Feed’, ‘Adsense Javascript’, etc. A widget is added by coding it in the Edit Html tab and after saving it appears in the Page Elements tab where data can be added to it. Following types of data can be added in a widget :
